OUR Platform

Our basic stance on the issues that matter.

Health Care: Some argue that Obamacare is a complete failure--We would like to see what these people do for the millions of people below the poverty line instead! We will continue and expand upon the current system, which already provides monetary assistance for millions of struggling Americans, and has significantly lowered the number of people without healthcare. We will work to control the growth of premiums to make sure prices don’t skyrocket by increasing competition among insurance companies. We will also decrease government paid subsidies to help reduce the deficit that social security is bringing on us. We will continue to provide aid to the low income households that require it though welfare programs.

Foreign Policy: We will support our allies and generously but carefully and share our wealth and arms with the countries that need them. We will not intervene militarily in any other countries unless they pose a direct threat to the United States. We will provide assistance to the rebels fighting ISIS through materials and tactical advisors. We will not put boots on the ground. We will attempt to collaborate with the Russians to defeat ISIS. But we will respond with firmness if they cross the line. We will continue to give billions of dollars in aid to Pakistan and Afghanistan, confident that they will use it for the betterment of their country. But we will keep their aid in jeopardy so they have incentive to fight terrorism and other problems because of their lackluster effort in recent years. We will negotiate new trade deals with the United Kingdom due to their disappointing exit from the European Union. We will remake NAFTA due to the negative side effects on american industrial workers. These workers who have been neglected, patronized, ignored, have been heard by us. We will also void the trans pacific partnership due to the need for protectionism in these changing times. The Iran deal will remain in place with or without bipartisan support. We will keep our eyes on North Korea as well.

NEW EDUCATION:  Some may think money or prestige are important things to succeed; our campaign believes it is our children. Students are the backbone of our nation, and public education allows adolescents of all income levels to be given the same platform towards success.  There are two main questions regarding education for our nation: how to fund state universities, and how to fix so-called high school "drop-out factories."  A highschool “drop-out” factory is when 60% of the freshman class does not make it to senior year.  States need to build data systems to keep track of students throughout their school career and more accurately measure and dropout rates.  These strong progress goals for graduation rates will be imposed on schools that miss the benchmark.  With support from the nonprofit The Education Trust, we will work to help decrease overcrowding in schools. According to a study done by the National Center for Education Statistics, around 14 percent of U.S schools exceed capacity. It is very hard for students to learn and for teachers to teach effectively with a large student to teacher ratio. Studies have shown that a more specialized and individual education can go a long way. In this extremely competitive age, we need to do everything we can to give our students the edge. We will put money into building new schools and expanding on existing ones. Furthermore, college needs to be more affordable for our students, but they must show hard work and commitment to be applicable. Numerous studies have shown a college education and degree greatly progress someone’s success.  We will put money into building new schools and expanding on existing ones. Funds to promote this idea will come from the progressive tax Pablo’s administration will implement.  With a raised tax on the wealthy, money will be able to flow to new programs like funding college tuition and other welfare programs.  Your success is the economy’s success, which is this nation’s success, but success only comes before work in the dictionary. We are here to do that work.

EPA regulations: Everything, this campaign, the houses we live in, the very ground on which we slumber and dream--is all built upon the earth, and thus the environment around us. If we lose the environment, we truly do lose everything. For this reason, we believe that addressing environmental concerns given by scientists and activists is a number one priority. Other campaigns have policies on the subject that are quite general in nature. All that the people ever hear is that nameless, faceless “current policies” will be “vastly expanded” and the like. We are here to tell you that this is just pompous oratory. Our plans are concrete and transparent, and include my intricate Harmful Waste Disposal Plan as well as my Total Conservation Plan, which are discussed further in my speeches and on the website. We intend for these plans to involve environmental organizations across the nation, and to create some much needed jobs for the workforce. If you truly care about the environment, if you are fed up with rhetoric being used in place of action, and most of all, if you want change now, vote Pablo 2016.

Tax reform: It is a dismal place where money is not in the hands of consumers: There, the economy does not flourish; there, the hard working lower and middle classes do not flourish; there, only the one percent flourish. We are here to make sure that does not happen. We are here to put money with consumers. Into consumers’ pockets. Into your pockets. We will accomplish this through a progressive tax. We will raise  taxes on the rich, on executive portions of corporations (executive compensation), and on stock options.  More money will be taxed from the people who can afford it. More money will go to consumers who have more purchasing power and stimulate the economy. Money will flow from the one percent right to you.

Harmful Waste Disposal Plan: The way that humans are disposing of harmful waste is ineffective and dangerous for all. Take China, where “outdoor air pollution contributes to the deaths of an estimated 1.6 million people every year, or about 4,400 people a day” (NY Times). Here in the USA, we are closer to this than most think. “The American Lung Association's 2016 "State of the Air" report found continued improvement in air quality, but more than half (52.1%) of the people in the United States live in counties that have unhealthful levels of either ozone or particle pollution.” (Lung.org). Air pollution also raises the global temperature, which could have disastrous effects for future generations. To deal with disposal of not only air pollutants, but also other toxic waste, we created our Harmful Waste Disposal Plan. We will dedicate a much larger portion of our budget to expand research on greenhouse gas and other chemical scrubbers for industries. By isolating these harmful chemicals from the air we breathe, we not only make our environment healthier and safer, but also recycle these waste chemicals.

Total Conservation Plan: Our forests and other natural resources are becoming scarce as we overuse them. Large corporations’ use of wood and mined resources will be tightly regulated to prevent further environmental richness from being snatched from Earth. The average American uses over 700 pounds of paper per year (www.wastefreemail.com), showing just how absurd our abuse of nature has become. Transitioning to more electronic formats for documents is a necessity for us to preserve the world’s forests. Lastly, in terms of energy, we intend to expand the budget for research on mass renewable energy, including geothermal, wind-powered, and solar energies.

Meet The Campaign

Pablo (Dylan) Rothschild: !Y'all already know who it is!

Joshua Rich: Our charming research analyst. He knows everything about everyone. Its his job. Joshua can take one glimpse at a person and derive their deepest flaws, making him an asset to any campaign. The other candidates should be most worried about Joshua and the insatiable scrutiny that he will no doubt burden upon them. Also a very competent speech writer, Joshua lives by the simple motto "But that's none of my business."

Leonard Steger: Our devious and scheming campaign manager. His height and living legend status often draw him favorable comparisons with Lebron James. Leonard is the manager and he meticulously calculates each and every action this campaign takes. Leonard makes sure every move is a calculated step  towards the election of Pablo Rothschild. Leonard plays the election like a game of chess, while all the other campaign managers are playing checkers.

Hamir Ranade: Our masterful press secretary and social media expert. He is often credited with the introduction of Mr. Derenberger's face and other "easter eggs" into presentations. Hamir is also the creator of this magnificent website. Hard working, no-nonsense, dedicated, superbly intelligent, all words that Ryan Derenberger has used to describe Hamir (Off the record of course). Hamir's creative flair makes him valuable to the campaign as he makes sure the public is informed as well as entertained.
